What Are Chamfered Sash Windows?

Our Traditional 2500 chamfered sash windows feature outward opening sashes which stand proud of the window frame and are probably the more typical window style used in homes today. 

Our double glazed windows achieve an A* 10 energy rating, providing superb thermal insulation. Our best triple glazed windows achieve an A*25 energy rating for the best in energy efficiency and comfort in the home.

The system’s eye-catching clean sharp lines and smooth chamfers are the perfect solution for every house style, improving any properties’ appearance whilst also offering low maintenance and durable windows.

Our windows are also 100% recyclable. 

What Sets Our Windows Apart?
  • We manufacture our own windows. All our products are made to measure, they’ll be expertly fabricated by our master craftsmen, using the latest cutting edge machinery at our factory in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire. We don't buy an entry level trade window.
  • Huge choice of colours. For a more traditional look wood grain foil laminates are available. Whether its vibrant Golden Oak or rich Rosewood, the effect is a solid, satisfying, realistic appearance that belies the technology and performance hidden beneath. However if a wood grain or white window isn’t what you desire, we have a range of colours to suit every pallet.
  • Choice of windows styles to suit any property. Our Traditional chamfered window, with it's effective yet gentle chamfered design looks sharp and stays that way with no nooks or crannies for dirt to collect. Or our Heritage Flush sash window is a perfect choice for traditional or contemporary homes alike. Designed to replicate a traditional timber window, the products’s subtle charm and elegance transforms a building like no other.
  • Our windows are stronger as we use a 70mm frame. An increased width of 70mm actually allows the profile to be narrower (reducing the sightlines) whilst improving on the high levels of structural and insulating performance. Incidentally, a 70mm width also means that paint lines and mastic residue from previous windows can be fully covered.
  • By using the very best uPVC profile & hardware we are able to offer the most secure windows. Our windows have attained BS7950 and PAS 24 security product standards.
  • Our windows achieve the best thermal performance. By using a 70mm frame & high performing thermal glass our windows far exceed the thermal performance required by building regulations. We only offer the best A rated window as standard.
  • For our weather climate, superior weather performance is important. Our windows are tested to the latest European standards for water ingress, air permeability and wind resistance. Air Permeability EN1026, Water Tightness EN1027, Wind Resistance EN 12211.
  • We use a neutral grey colour for the seals and gaskets of our white windows. Where other windows on the market will use black seals. We believe that a traditional black gasket on white framing would have broken the smooth lines of our window design.
